Today I will be teaching a class on how to use sewing machines at Tampa Upcycle in Ybor
The class will run from 2-4p and cover all of the basics, including setting up a machine, adjusting settings, and starting to sew.
Everyone is welcome and, as always with Tampa Free Skool classes, it is totally FREE!
Tampa Upcycle will be providing a few extra machines, so even those who do not own their own may attend.
If you are able, please bring about 1/2 yard of non-stretch fabric, a spindle of thread, and a sewing machine (if you have one).
Instructor qualifications: I have been sewing by hand and with machines for over ten years. I have experience with several different machine models as well as a serger. I have crafted all sorts of things from bags to plush telephones to my own high school prom dress.
